The rumor mill has gone back and forth about a lot of things about the folding iPhone, but we're happy to report that the iPhone Duo does, in fact, have MagSafe charging.
Of all the things to talk about, Apple chose to leave out if the iPhone Duo had MagSafe. We understand, it makes sense if you don't want to have a two-hour keynote about it.
Fortunately, Apple's technical specs are clear about it.
It won't be able to do the fancy fast-charge, and will be slower than a cable. Apple says that it can get up to 50% with a 60W wired charger. On MagSafe, which is fancy Qi2 25W charging, it will get 50% in 30 minutes, so it's not that far off.
Regardless, much to the delight of car MagSafe mount owners, it's there, and we're glad.
