Following a claim that Apple is dropping silver as an iPhone 18 Pro color, another leaker has shown a silver component. And suggests that it's another popular color that will be dropped instead.
Whether you call it silver or consider it a kind of light grey, Fixed Focus Digital claims Apple won't use it for the iPhone 18 Pro. The leaker also insists that there will be just three colors, and now a rival leaker may have backed up that part.
Generally reliable leaker Sonny Dickson has shown an image with three of the same iPhone 18 Pro components, just in different colors. Dickson has made no further comment, but he didn't need to since one of the colors is indeed silver.

The other two shown are the light or sky blue, and the one variously described as Wine Red, Burgundy, or even Dark Cherry.
Both leakers agree on Sky Blue and Burgundy, but if Sonny Dickson is showing all three iPhone 18 Pro colors, then there is one missing. It's not silver, it's the equally popular black.
Maybe Dickson only has the three he's showing, although if his sources have provided those then it's odd he hasn't also got the fourth. Maybe he has only photographed the three, which is possible since his point was just to show that there is a silver one.
From the iPhone 14 Pro and up to the iPhone 16 Pro, Apple sold four colorways. They would generally be black, white, and two other colors.
With the iPhone 17 Pro, Apple cut that back to three. The stand-out one was the bright Cosmic Orange, but there was also a darker Deep Blue, and a very light Silver.
Back in April 2026, the also generally reliable Ice Universe leaker claimed that there would once again be four colors for the iPhone 18 Pro lineup. Those were the Burgundy and Sky Blue ones, plus both silver and black.
We won't find out which leaker is right, though, until the new iPhones are revealed on September 9, 2026.
