Apple does not publish restore images (IPSW) for Apple Watch — it is updated over the air only. Use the Software Update screen on the device, or the beta guide for pre-release versions.

How to install an watchOS IPSW on your Apple Watch

  1. Find your exact model: open Settings → General → About and tap the model number, or use our device identifier.
  2. Download the IPSW for your model from its page. Only versions marked Signed can be installed.
  3. Connect the device to a Mac (Finder) or Windows PC (Apple Devices or iTunes).
  4. Hold Option on Mac or Shift on Windows and click Restore Apple Watch, then choose the IPSW file.

Restoring erases everything on the device. Back up to iCloud or your computer first. More answers in the firmware FAQ.
