Apple's iPhone 18 Pro event is over. You're going to have to wait until October to pre-order and use the iPhone Duo.
We suspected from the beginning that the folding iPhone wasn't going to arrive day-and-date as the iPhone 18 Pro would. We missed our early guesses on when, though.
Reminiscent of the iPhone X, Apple says that pre-orders for iPhone Duo start at 8 AM ET on Friday, October 16. Availability begins on Friday, October 23.
And, this is very similar to how the new Mac mini and Mac Studio has proceeded. Pre-orders for that were far in advance of a September 22 shipping date.
We're going to be on the list. At at wallet-punishing $1999 to get in the door, we understand if you're not.
