  1. Back up your iPad Air (China) to iCloud or your computer — restoring erases the device.
  2. Turn off Find My in Settings → [your name] → Find My.
  3. Connect the device with a cable and open Finder (macOS Catalina or later) or Apple Devices / iTunes (Windows).
  4. Hold Option (Mac) or Shift (Windows) and click Restore. Choose iPad_64bit_11.0.1_15A402_Restore.ipsw.
  5. Wait — the device restarts several times. Don’t disconnect it until you see the Hello screen.
